Does vinyl crack in the cold?
Fence-grade vinyl is rated for freezing climates. A hard impact in deep cold can crack a panel, and a panel can be replaced without touching the posts.
Will it yellow?
Fence-grade vinyl carries UV inhibitors and does not yellow the way old siding did. Rinse it with a hose once a season.
